Exhibition, Reading Program, and Launch

The exhibition brought together the work of Pharaoh Kakudji, Sabrina Da Silva Medeiros, Kevin-Ademola Sangosanya, Yannis Briki, and Jérémy Cardoso. It followed the talks by Sara, Salomé, and Sabrina, which opened the reflections on memory, vulnerability, and resistance.
Pharaoh KAKUDJI
French-American artist of Congolese and Spanish descent, born in Paris in 2000. He lives between Paris, New York, and Los Angeles. He paints urban, cinematic works on salvaged posters and has exhibited in “Les Apparitions” by Reiffers Art Initiatives.
Sabrina Da Silva Medeiros
Interdisciplinary artist. Having grown up in the south of São Paulo, her work reassembles memory in the face of colonial erasure, weaving together ancestral rites, funk rhythms, and marginal imaginaries.
Kevin-Ademola Sangosanya
French-Nigerian artist. His multidisciplinary practice explores the sacred, the Black Atlantic, and the occult through an introspective and spiritual approach.
Yannis Briki
Artist and filmmaker. A 2022 graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’arts de Paris-Cergy, his work explores solitude, memory, and the resurgence of personal archives through video, installation, and myth.
Jérémy Cardoso
Paris-based photographer. After studying at the Gobelins, his work explores memory, transmission, and belonging, drawing on his Cape Verdean roots through portraiture and a documentary practice.
